Over the years, as I have dug deeper into the words of the Bible, I find myself falling more in love with God and His Word every day. My hope is that everyone chooses to open the Bible to unearth their own discoveries and revelations. Because, when you truly immerse yourself in it, you will find there is one word that the Bible is not: boring. It is exhilarating. It is beautiful. It is deep. Let’s dig!
I am a beloved daughter, a wife, and a mother to the most adorable children you will ever meet.
I also follow this man named Jesus.
As I wrote about in my very first blog post, I recently noticed three little words that had never caught my eye before within a story that I had heard a million times. Luke 6:46-48 says,
“Everyone who comes to me and hears my words and does them, I will show you what he is like: he is like a man building a house, who dug deep and laid the foundation on the rock.”
Digging deep toward the rock for a firm foundation – this is what my current season is all about! Digging deep into God’s Word and documenting the treasures I find along the way on this blog. This is what you can expect to find on this blog! Treasures found in the Bible. You can read more about my heart behind that here.
This month marks one year since my maternal grandmother passed away. She was easily one of the strongest, most faith-filled women I have ever met. I aspire to cling to Jesus and my Bible the way she did!
Do you want to know what I love about New Year’s Day? I love that it falls seven days from Christmas. Seems like a random thing to love, right? It actually is not so random. December 25 is the day that has been chosen to celebrate the birth of Christ, which means New Year’s Day …
Who loves you the most in the entire world? No, I am not looking for your answer to be Jesus. Which mortal being loves you more than any other? This may be your best friend, your spouse, your parent or child. Keep this person in mind.
